End Of Year Reflection!

Reflection

this year has been the best year of all my primary school years😏. This year I have learned to be able to work with anyone in the classroom.

An important decision I made was to join kapa haka 

because it made me feel very safe in the country I live in. A goal I accomplished this year was to join kapa haka because everyone doubted that I wouldn't look good in the uniforms,that I wouldn't  suit kapa haka and that I would look like an egg but this year I joined it  and it was heaps  of fun.

My favourite memory of this year wan meeting my friend Tanzee,Quinn and Eliani they are very funny and kind.The funniest thing that happened this year was at my birthday  when my teachers son was sleeping me and my friends drew a mono brown,lipstick,blush and 4 pack abs on him with lip stick

My Reflection

this term for Inquiry we have been making biospheres.

Our Inquiry topic was what would we do if earth was

uninhabitable? so we had to make biospheres for 300 

people to live in. We made our Biospheres from scratch 

we started by getting old milk boxes then painting them then we added all or props in and designed it. It was extremely fun took us a couple days but is was worth it in the end It was really fun why don't you try it if you do good luck!!!

I thing the hardest part of planing this was writing about

my character

the easiest part would be telling you what happens and 

writing about Yeats (the main character). we had to inference

to learn about William (My character).It was easy to write

about Yeats because he is talked about lots in the story.

In room 20 have been making pirate ships.

This is my pirate ship the learning that we

did was learn about different shapes, nets 

and learning about how to use a protractor and

and how to measure. this was really fun I think the hardest

part was using the protractor to get the angles right but 

overall it was quite fun.

diary post

the last 5 weeks  we have had a student teacher in  our

 class her name is Miss Terry. My favourite thing about her was

the book she read to us the book was called Between two ends.

It is about a boy called Yeats that lots of weird stuff and happens to him.

 He has to  go into a book called the 1001 Arabian nights to rescue someone out of a book to make his father happy.

I also liked the inquiry she did with us we learnt about if earth was inhabitable where would could we go. after we learnt  about our planets in the solar system we did some paper mache planets after we finished paper mache planets we painted them. It was really fun.

we also made a mini bio-dome for inquiry where had build a bio-dome for three hundred people to live in we had to make bathrooms,kitchens,gardens etc  it took us a couple days to plan our bio-domes and to make them.

We have had a lot of fun with Miss Terry in our class I wish her the best for her teaching in the future.
